Terrebonne is a small ranch & resort community that encompasses portions of Deschutes and Jefferson County, Oregon. Known for being "horse country" the town is an excellent choice for horse lovers looking for a ranch property.  Just north of Redmond, Terrebonne is also home to the stunningly beautiful Ranch of the Canyons, and the Crooked River Ranch resort community. In addition to beautiful views and mild weather, Terrebonne is a rock climbing destination with Smith Rock State Park taking center stage.  The park offers miles of climbing routes and is recognized as being the origin of American rock climbing. Other activities include a 37 mile scenic bike-way, fishing, and hiking, and for those not athletically inclined wine tasting at Faith, Hope & Charity Vineyards.   Camping is also a family favorite with yurts, tents and rustic cabins available.
